This is part two of that interview and he’s going to continue we’re going to continue getting into some very [00:01:00] interesting topics, which you can see they’re listed on our website there for the episodes post page the topics that we discussed and of course, you can go back to the previous episode and listen.

[00:01:34] Matthew Bray: [00:01:34] Yes, and you know, brother Branham taught us that we should never hang our entire Christian Life on just an experience that should be the revelation of faith in the word the actual word coming to life to us and the word itself becoming spirit and life in our life. So in essence, I would caution young people especially young girls whenever they see somebody acting [00:02:00] out a joy or a an experience so called in a religious service.

[00:02:08] You know then watch The Life watch the day-to-day life has that experience drawed that individual closer to God. Well, how does that translate into the person’s life after the services are over?

[00:02:20] Luis Urrego: [00:02:20] Absolutely brother Matthew because the point the key thing is for your life to change.

[00:02:25] Matthew Bray: [00:02:25] Yes.

[00:02:26] Luis Urrego: [00:02:26] You hit it you hit it on the head just a little bit ago is that if your life is not changing if you’re not becoming.

[00:02:33] Changing to putting off the old man and putting on the new man and then things are not actually changing in your life. Then what then what was what was the value of that experience that you had or what was or what was do you see what I’m trying to say? I mean, there’s no value in it. But what I’m saying, is that because that experience could help them down the road.

[00:02:59] But [00:03:00] but if it didn’t if it didn’t start to immediately do something in your life, then you shouldn’t base and put all your all your all your eggs in just that experience.

[00:03:12] Matthew Bray: [00:03:12] Yep Titus Chapter 3 Verse 5 says not by works of righteousness, which is says not by works of righteousness, which we have done.

[00:03:19] But according to his Mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. So the real experience that people should seek for is an experience of total renewal and regeneration that actually brings about a transformation in our lives by the renewing of our mind. I really think it’s important to emphasize the young people that the real experience in the Holy Spirit is an experience of regeneration and renewal to where

[00:03:53] you become renewed in your mind and it brings transformation in your [00:04:00] life.

[00:04:02] Luis Urrego: [00:04:02] Amen.

[00:04:03] Bob Black: [00:04:03] That’s Romans. 12:2.

[00:04:06] Luis Urrego: [00:04:06] And that yes, that’s Romans 12:2.

[00:04:11] Matthew Bray: [00:04:11] Yep to be renewed in the spirit of your mind be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

[00:04:19] Luis Urrego: [00:04:19] God wants our own thinking to be the set aside.

[00:04:23] And it has what he said. Let this mind of Christ being you.

[00:04:27] Matthew Bray: [00:04:27] Yes, brother.

[00:04:29] Luis Urrego: [00:04:29] To have the mind of Christ, see brother Matthew. I think it’s so it’s so important if we can have the mind of Christ even at a young age like that, and I know that God deals with us at different time frames and but if we can see.

[00:04:47] Marriage and see a wife and see things in life at a young age the way God sees it my goodness you’d had such you’d have such a you’d have [00:05:00] such a what’s the word i’m looking for? Such an advantage in life if yes, mind of Christ is already there.

[00:05:10] Matthew Bray: [00:05:10] Yes, it’s very important to let the mind of Christ have preeminence in our lives and in our thinking and that is one of the things that’s in also important about realizing the Christian life.

[00:05:25] And that is how the Lord wants to lead us because the word Lord means ruler he wants to totally have preeminence in our lives and young people seeking for relationship. In a potential spouse should. You know realize that, you know God might have a preference. I mean not in might but he’d absolutely has a preference on what type of person you’re going to marry.

[00:05:52] So you should really let the Lord have his way and all your future steps.

[00:05:58] Luis Urrego: [00:05:58] Amen. [00:06:00] So in heading into that brother Matthew because we know that that that’s so important. For you to have the mind of Christ. You got to have the new birth.

[00:06:10] Matthew Bray: [00:06:10] Absolutely.

[00:06:12] Luis Urrego: [00:06:12] So in saying that brother Matthew, what is the new birth to you?

[00:06:17] Matthew Bray: [00:06:17] The new birth is the revelation of Jesus Christ personally. Where you come to know him. You actually know Jesus as a person he’s revealed to you personally. It’s a revelation of Faith given through the spirit the inspiration the spirit. And it and it comes through the promise word for this hour and it is a living reality of the person of Jesus Christ being made manifest in your own life.

[00:06:43] Luis Urrego: [00:06:43] So it’s not do’s and don’ts and works or how how did those things play in into the new birth?

[00:06:52] Matthew Bray: [00:06:52] Yeah, a lot of people will look at the message or the Bible as a bunch of rules. Like it’s a rule book when actually the [00:07:00] truth of Christianity is that it’s a life. Brother Branham explained how a new Leaf grows on a tree like there certain trees down here in the South that the leaf on the end of a stem is actually dead, but it’s still hanging there.

[00:07:15] And the only way that that leaf will ever fall off is when new life comes back around in the springtime and pushes that old Leaf out. So a new Leaf can grow. A lot of things occur in a person’s life when they come to know the Lord Jesus old things pass away and All Things become new you have a newness of life and it isn’t just, you know keeping a bunch of rules.

[00:07:42] It’s actually the Life of Christ coming in in the power of the Holy Spirit to live his own life through you to enable the victories to enable and Empower you over the carnal tendencies that we inherit through our first birth. That doesn’t take away from the [00:08:00] fact that there’s not struggles and there’s not battles, there are, but we have Jesus Christ to help us whenever we generally have the new birth.

[00:08:08] We have the power of the holy spirit in our innermost being regenerating and quickening in our hearts and in our minds so that we would be enabled to live by the word of God because a lot of young people here is quote you no man should not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

[00:08:25] Well humanly speaking. There’s no way for us to do that. But the power of Christ entering into our life through New Birth and regeneration. He’s the one that makes it possible because it’s his life in us manifesting and living by every word.

[00:08:41] Luis Urrego: [00:08:41] Amen bro. Matthew that’s exactly right. To have his life living out through us.

[00:08:46] That’s that’s key right there because then that will make it to where it’s not those do’s and don’ts and regulations. We saw that in the with the Pharisees in the New Testament [00:09:00] when Jesus was walking amongst them. To them they had made it rules and regulations, even though those rules and those and those Commandments that they were they were obeying were God’s Word.

[00:09:14] But here is Jesus. He’s getting ready. He’s trying to he’s trying to magnify what he had what he had already said back in the Old Testament and but showing forth that and proven that it. It was a life. It’s what it’s what is what comes out from the from within that lives that it it’s supposed to be from the inside out not from the outside in.

[00:09:40] Matthew Bray: [00:09:40] Yes, brother. That’s right. That’s where the kingdom of God is in our hearts.

[00:09:44] Luis Urrego: [00:09:44] Amen. And so after the New Birth brother brother Matthew, what what what’s what’s next after the after the New Birth?

[00:09:53] Matthew Bray: [00:09:53] After the New Birth is a growth, you know, you grow in the likeness and image of Christ and you begin to go through [00:10:00] things, you know, it’s it’s actually a fact, you know in the scriptural reality that when a person comes to know the Lord and God becomes your father then he brings you through testings and trials and he gives you victories over things and you begin to grow and experiential faith.

[00:10:18] After you become born again, you begin to a walk just like when a baby’s born it’s shortly after the birth. He begins to learn to walk. It’s not immediately, but shortly after you know weeks turn into months and then you find out the baby’s walking and after a while the baby can stand on his own two feet.

[00:10:38] And and the baby becomes more and more independent as time goes by. And God is in the child wearing business. Absolutely. So after you receive new birth, it’s critical to maintain Christian Fellowship stay among elders and other people that have had long-standing proof of their [00:11:00] experience in the Lord to stay in Christian fellowship and also my brothers and sisters.

[00:11:06] It’s so important to pray and read your Bibles constantly. Make sure you don’t let anything come between you and your devotion your time in the presence of the Lord because when you become Born Again, a baby has to eat to get nourishment to be strengthened up to add to his bones to add to his his strength so he can grow healthy.

[00:11:34] So the natural birth is a type and a foreshadowing of the spiritual birth.

[00:11:39] Luis Urrego: [00:11:39] Absolutely brother Matthew and I think that’s one of the things that that people it’s one is some of the easy most easiest things that we know that we should do read your Bible pray every day. But yet it’s one of the toughest things to do.

[00:11:54] Matthew Bray: [00:11:54] Yeah.

[00:11:55] Luis Urrego: [00:11:55] What would you say to to a [00:12:00] Believer out there that that struggles in those areas?

[00:12:04] Matthew Bray: [00:12:04] Yes, it was just say it’s time management a large part of it is how your managing your time and it’s denying your flesh every time that your going to do something spiritual or seek the Lord through prayer or even reading the Bible?

[00:12:20] It is truly a denying of your own flesh because you because the flesh wants to be comfortable. You always want to just kind of do what’s easy. You want to go down the easy Road and what’s comfortable and every Christian is aware of this every single one of us know that it’s a lot easier just sit on the couch and relax and read a book or do something entertaining.

[00:12:40] Instead of actually getting into the scripture and pressing in with a focus and a fervency that’s truly spiritual because that takes effort. Yeah, I would encourage people that if they’re really struggling with this. Yeah, if there is a struggle there and actually getting [00:13:00] into a time of reading scripture or prayer definitely those two go together.

[00:13:07] I would start out by praying and worshiping the Lord. And create an atmosphere put on some, you know, maybe really good music if that helps you and definitely find a place to be quiet. And this is one of the things that people really Rob themselves over a lot of times. They think that they can really spend time with the Lord when there’s distractions going on and I don’t believe that and I have found that it’s always better to get as quiet as you can.

[00:13:32] If you have worship music going to be create an atmosphere, that’s okay, too, but you don’t want to be distracted. You don’t want to fidget with your phone and get tempted to get on there and text your friends and everything like this on a truly have effectual fervent prayer. That means heartfelt focused attention like a laser beam on nothing else, but the Lord Jesus Christ and press in with the fervency in really fight off every [00:14:00] tendency to let your mind wander.

[00:14:01] Because it’s not about being passive in your mind or being so yielded and surrendered to where you’re not engaged. You want to be focused. You want to be awake you want to be sober and Vigilant and you want to really press into prayer and I believe that if you can accumulate those things in a discipline, you’ll find your prayer life take off in a really dramatic way.

[00:14:24] Bob Black: [00:14:24] Yeah, brother Matthew. Can you also speak on the how young people could approach the study of the word in addition to prayer and maybe how that ties into their prayer life as well.

[00:14:35] Matthew Bray: [00:14:35] Yes, once you have spent some time in prayer and I would remind you how the Lord Jesus even started with the Lord’s Prayer.

[00:14:43] He said Our Father which art in Heaven. It’s important to you know introduce. Prayer with a little bit of worship and Thanksgiving begin to create that atmosphere as you approach God In Prayer, you know, you don’t want to start asking God for a bunch of things before [00:15:00] you acknowledge Him and have a worshipful attitude towards him and it’s coming into the spirit and presence of God, you know is focusing your heart and speaking to the Lord and reverence and worship and approaching him with worship and Thanksgiving.

[00:15:19] And when you pray and you get in that atmosphere, that’s when your Bible reading is really going to be different is when you’ve already come into the presence of God and his presence is near the anointing is near and you become conscious of God’s presence when you open the scripture, that’s when your Bible reading will be much much different because then you’ll be reading the scriptures under the anointing of the Lord.

[00:15:45] So when you go to. Open your scripture just let yourself be sensitive and just open passages of scripture. If anything comes to remembrance then go read it [00:16:00] or if you just read and randomly just begin to read a scripture and you know, follow the the reference guide lines in your Bible or something like that and just begin to look for continuity.

[00:16:15] And look for themes and things in the Holy Spirit Will begin to open things up to you and Inspire things to you from the Bible and also brother Bob whenever I was very young in the Lord. I still do it to this day. I will sit down with a piece of paper and a writing utensil and actually write scripture out and meditation in the word is extremely powerful.

[00:16:35] I usually try to get this over to young people and it’s so important brother Branham did say it’s important to read, you know chapter after chapter and your time. But it’s also brother Branham said one of the greatest things he had in his life for pleasure was meditating in the word of God. That’s literally a quote one of the greatest things.

[00:16:55] He said he loved good music, but one of the greatest things he had for [00:17:00] pleasure. He said pleasure in his life was meditating in the word of God. Because God’s word is God’s thoughts expressed. And you can’t separate the spirit of God from the word of God when you really come into that channel fellowship with Christ through prayer and is surrendering to him and strengthen your time strengthen your focus and all your attention to the Lord.

[00:17:27] You’ll find yourself in a fellowship with God. That is so amazing. You just wouldn’t want to do anything else. Hey, man, now brother Matthew, you know me being a minister brother Bob here. He’s a minister and of course, you’re a pastor and a minister that plays the the praying part plays such an important role because I don’t know if you feel this way or not, but I’ve even gotten sermons out of my actual prayers.

[00:18:00] [00:18:00] With God because sometimes you enter into a channel you’re so you’re so focused and work and worship and then all of a sudden things that she weren’t even not even thinking about start coming at you and then some it was like wow, that’s a that’s a sermon within itself. Have you ever had those experiences?

[00:18:21] Yes, brother you get so lost in the spirit and you begin to get utterance and inspiration Holy Spirit and. And you begin to other things that are inspirational and it kind of connects things up in the scripture and you begin to catch a message and something that you want to share with others. Yes.

[00:18:40] Absolutely. That’s why I say young people is so important that I’ve had I’ve had people tell me as I well. I don’t know what to pray for. I am not sure what to say. I don’t know. And they’ve been they’ve been Christians for for quite a while now and yet they still don’t know [00:19:00] how to pray but you hit it right on the on on the nail on the head there brother Matthew is that the best way is to start with worship?

[00:19:09] If you don’t know if you don’t know what to say anything or anything of that you don’t have to just worship Him raise your hands concentrate on him what I like to do. And I’m sure maybe brother Matthew does the same thing I start thinking about about the Hoffmans head of Christ in my head. If I’m not there looking at her you just kind of start looking to thinking about Jesus Christ and you’re there in front of him and that really helps to enter in.

[00:19:38] What how do you how do you what helps you enter in brother brother Matthew? He asked brother. I appreciate that question very much. Well as you grow in the Lord, you you learn to understand these principles in these things and after a while they become very natural as breathing. [00:20:00] But what is very simple brother Louise is actually going to a very quiet place like in the morning.

[00:20:06] I’ll go on the back porch with a cup of coffee in my Bible and I will sit for several several moments. Just thinking on the Lord and starting with Thanksgiving. Because if you don’t know what to pray you certainly can. Thank God for just the breath in your body. Amen. I just I just begin to thank God for let me raise up to see another day.

[00:20:29] I thank God for giving me the opportunity and the time to pray and read my Bible and focus on him and fellowship with him. And I thank him for the strength that he gives me to just live my life every day and just start with Thanksgiving because the Lord Jesus said when you pray pray Our Father, which art in heaven Hallowed be thy name, the very start of the Lord’s Prayer is magnifying God worshipping God and acknowledgment of the father’s they Almighty and [00:21:00] that begins to create the atmosphere and starts to orientate your attitude and your focus.

[00:21:06] Praise the Lord absolutely. So it’s so important to have a prayer life in a in a in a study study life of the word in a Christian and I do you feel that a Christian would have that thirst those thirsts if they’re if they’re really been filled with the Holy Spirit. Yes, brother because when they don’t do it, they certainly can tell when you don’t spend time with the Lord you don’t spend time in God’s presence you get weaker and you get frustrated things start happening.

[00:21:39] They don’t work out, you know, if you’re if you really have the spirit of God in your life and you’ve received the New Birth by The Incorruptible seed of God’s word. The very reason Jesus died for us on the cross is to get our fellowship he died for us. So he could have our fellowship and whenever believer gets too [00:22:00] busy to encumbered about with everything else and they don’t spend time in the presence of the Lord.

[00:22:04] They will know it they will absolutely no it wow. That’s powerful brother Matthew that is very powerful because he did his part. So now it’s time for us to do our part. Absolutely. Hey, man, my goodness brother Matthew. We could probably talk about prayer and reading and studying for a while. But I just want to get to it to just a few of these other questions here about certainly enjoyed this and I hope the our listeners are enjoying this as well and getting something that would benefit them because what we say here at the ten thousand worlds is your soul your souls worth more than you think.

[00:22:46] Amen brother brother Matthew just this quickly. Maybe we could one question here that I have is what what do you think God is doing now through the message of the hour. What is what is what is next for [00:23:00] the for the bride of Christ? Oh my brother. Those are some powerful questions. Yeah, just that Robbie.

[00:23:10] Yeah, just that question on could take several several podcast, brother. But what I believe is happening in the body of Christ around the world is that I believe the holy spirit is continuing to bring about the true knowledge of who the bride is like for example when Paul wrote and. When that which is perfect is come then that which is in part shall be done away.

[00:23:35] Our partial knowledge of the things of God are being done away with by the fact that the Perfection has come to the opening the Seven Seals and through the introduction of the fullness of the word through have indicated Prophet. We’re coming to know as we were known the spiritual Amnesia is lifting off of us and we’re coming into the knowledge of things that God.

[00:23:58] New of us before [00:24:00] the foundation of the world because God’s Eternal and the Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world. So those things that God had in his mind are now being actually worked out in the lives of individuals here in this age and it’s coming to know those things and they’re all recorded in the Bible and that’s what’s so exciting.

[00:24:24] About being a message believer is God has given us the true interpretation of scripture which literally means what is written in the word how it is manifested in real-time how it’s manifested and translated in our lives as individuals and we were literally see the scripture manifesting literally living itself out.

[00:24:46] Amen, so it’s lifting off from the pages and being manifested through Us in this hours. Yes, the word is taking flesh in a redeemed people in those redeemed people around [00:25:00] the world are coming more and more into a Consciousness and a conscience reality of this fact that they are of Christ and that Christ is in them and they are part of the.

[00:25:12] Libyan live down this I written Epistles read known of all men and I believe that the Holy Spirit reveals this to a brand new Christian, but then begins to unfold it and more and more throughout the Christian experience and this this age it just comes to a Perfection and a completion to her people come to realize what’s written of them just like Jesus knew what was written of him.

[00:25:38] And I believe the prophet brother Branham was sent by God to sow the seed like he taught us the former rain means a sewing rain a planting rain and I believe the fivefold ministry is responsible for watering that seed. Absolutely, brother Matthew. It’s [00:26:00] interesting that you mentioned the fivefold ministry because you know how there’s so much controversy regarding the fivefold ministry and this hour.

[00:26:07] But yet but yet the scripture says there in Ephesians. It says that the body cannot be the Saints cannot be perfected without the fivefold ministry. Can you elaborate well Visions 411, you know those five offices are given into the body of Christ brother Branham talks about them. They’re mentioned right there in Ephesians 4:11, and it literally says for the perfecting of the Saints.

[00:26:36] Those five offices are Ministry gifts that minister to the faith of individual believers. They Minister and edify the revelation of Jesus Christ in the life of a Believer. I often approach it from the certain standpoint. I believed I mentioned it in your church their brother Louise and brother Bob and that is that as we just got done discussing how individual [00:27:00] Christians should have their own prayer time their own fellowship with the Lord.

[00:27:05] They have their own walk with God, but the marketplace is those five gifts and those five Ministry gifts in the body. So that those people can have help and be blessed and actually receive confirmation of Faith because when you’re walking with the Lord just like you said like in prayer you would receive messages why I guarantee you the Holy Spirit would work diligently in your life to confirm those things over and over and over again.

[00:27:35] And the fivefold ministry plays a very vital role in confirming what the holy spirit is saying in a person’s heart and he’ll anoint a minister in the fivefold ministry to say those things out loud from the pulpit and that creates incredible faith. Because you can be at home reading your Bible praying and the Lord can be dealing with you about a certain specific subject.

[00:27:58] Then you go to church and [00:28:00] hear your pastor expound on the very thing that was going on in your heart. That’s a man man. That’s what the scripture says. It’s for in the mouth of two or three Witnesses. Let every word be established. Absolutely. I’ve had that I’ve heard that so many times that happens to me.

[00:28:20] I’m studying. I’m reading and then here goes a brother at church or are here in a sermon online or brother Branham or something start speaking about that same thing that same exact day or even that same exact week confirming what I had heard already previously or what I had read previously. Yes, Ron, I believe that goes.

[00:28:39] Yes that goes for the perfecting of your faith personally. So measure is very important. I’ve seen people who have been hurt spiritually by not putting enough emphasis on those five offices and their functionality and their purpose and you know, I know I’ve seen people spiritually [00:29:00] hurt by not putting enough emphasis on studying the message and being in the prophet sermons, you know, so they really go hand-in-hand and it’s important to have.

[00:29:09] The bed that all the works and the gifts of the holy spirit are to be benefited by absolutely all of it. Amen. Amen. It’s so it’s so important the way I see a brother Matthew is that that it’s God put it in the scriptures and who are we to take that out of the scriptures? That’s right. Brother is definitely in the scripture and man must live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

[00:29:36] And so it’s so important that that you have a living word being preached through a living minister to you in this hour because. It’s what’s going to like we were just discussing that it’s what will establish every [00:30:00] word that you’ve already heard. For example, let’s say you heard it from a tape.

[00:30:03] Let’s say you read it in the scripture, but how can a man understand or how can a somebody and say if they don’t have somebody to explain it to us? Yeah inspiration of the Holy Spirit, you know, these ministers are dedicated to God and placed in the body. With these gifts and whenever they’re sitting in the presence of the Lord the holy spirit will lead them and guide them to study the certain portion of a word for a certain specific time and that’s going to go to a certain specific purpose to a certain specific person or people and those gifts are to be appreciated and understood.

[00:30:45] And actually it you know, this is a big subject with me brother because I find that people don’t even know how to benefit from these things that God has provided for us because it’s so much politics and so much debate and [00:31:00] fuss and everything. And we’ll really the Lord Jesus by his grace has provided these things.

[00:31:04] He ascended on high and led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. Amen. Amen. That’s why I say he gave him then what where show me where he took him out? II brother if I had hey, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve benefited from a real yield administer somebody who is under the inspiration ministering the word and how it would connect things up for me things that I would be studying and meditating on and God would use a precious brother to teach or preach or just admonish on something that would speak directly to me and it was so edify my faith because this is my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

[00:31:44] I’m not walking. With you know, everybody else as my redeemer. I’m walking with the Lord Jesus as my redeemer. He’s the Holy Ghost. So whenever I’m listening to a minister, I’m actually listening for my Lord. Jesus to confirm [00:32:00] things to me. Absolutely bromante my goodness, so we should be looking at not necessarily the flesh and blood.

[00:32:12] But looking at what God is saying through that flesh and blood. brother that’s why I desire moment and wisdom is so important and also experience and Faith because whenever I go to listen to a minister or if I’m at a church, listen to a minister. I’m not going to pay attention how he’s dressed.

[00:32:29] I’m not going to pay attention to how he looks I’m going to pay attention to the inspiration man. What is being delivered by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and again brother Matthew don’t you agree that if you have the new birth in your life. The word the Holy Ghost in you can only feed off the word.

[00:32:49] Yeah. Exactly. You’re only going to get what you what you’re looking for. So true brother. So if [00:33:00] you if you’re looking if you’re looking at the physical things of of a church service, then that’s what you’re going to receive that kind of in turn into is shows. What what is lacking in your life?

[00:33:14] But if the holy spirit is there just just emanating from your life and you can’t feed off. You can’t you’re not satisfied with just a little bit of word. You want more and more and more than like you said brother Matthew. You’re going to be looking for the word that how can this man? How can God use this man to speak to me?

[00:33:33] And I believe that will be the prayer that you would have for that man. And I believe God will speak to you just like you said. God has done to you in the past Amen brother. I would encourage people of every age to never go to church and let that church service be wasted but understand the approach and the importance of really receiving what the spirit is saying to the service because God don’t waste his time if there’s a gathering of Believers and there’s [00:34:00] going to be a service then there’s a purpose for it.

[00:34:03] That is so key brother brother Matthew had that kind of kind of. Open that up to me a little bit more in that regards to not take for granted when we when we when we gather together to Worship the Lord and to hear the word of God. Yes, brother. One of the things you have here is about what do you see as one of the biggest mistakes that people make are one of the biggest challenges within the message for all ages, especially the young people.

[00:34:34] One of the biggest just brother is letting things become too common to you because we are creatures of habit and routine and you let your brothers and sisters at church or you know, the pastor or even brother Branham in his message you let those things become common to you and you don’t really maintain a proper approach to where you can actually glean spiritually from the things [00:35:00] that are most important.

[00:35:02] Is that make sense? No, absolutely. Absolutely. It’s become a it can easily become a routine to where the effect of the word of God is no longer there and you’re just so concentrated on keeping the routine exactly brother. Yeah, and I agree with you brother brother Matthew that is a challenge in this hour and the you think brother Matthew that that is one of the reasons why maybe.

[00:35:32] People are leaving the the the message is it because maybe it’s become common bore boring to them. Yes, whether the message in the Bible itself are spiritually discerned. This message does not entertain you it’s a god did not send this message to tickle your ear. Earn 10. Anybody you have to get Beyond, you know, the the veil [00:36:00] of the humanistic.

[00:36:02] You know.

[00:39:50] [00:39:00] [00:38:00] [00:37:00] The humanistic side of life and try to look past the veil and see the Shekinah Glory of God’s presence. Behind it all [00:40:00] people leave the message because they don’t really understand that. It’s at Christ. The truth of the message is that it’s Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever when they really leave the message.

[00:40:11] They’re leaving Christ. They think they’re going to go off and find Christ somewhere, but they won’t because you got to have a revelation of the present truth and realize what part of the word Jesus Christ is living in right now. So it’s unfortunate that people can come to the knowledge of the message and then leave it.

[00:40:28] And that is because of no real experience with Christ. No real experience in the presence of God my goodness. That is so key brother Matthew and it’s it’s so unfortunate that that people you know, as Jesus said in the word if you continue in my word then are ye my disciples indeed. Oh, what a passage.

[00:40:54] What a word. And Jesus told the disciples that [00:41:00] in the Holy Ghost had not come yet. But but I’m in how much how much more now because you can steal you can grieve the Holy Spirit. You can grieve the holy spirit in this hour and and so. That’s why we just have to continue that that I think that’s where that that’s where that part with reading and staying in the word and praying plays a vital right vital KIA KIA vital part in a Christian and a Believers life.

[00:41:31] Absolutely. I’m always after the young people here and sometimes wherever I go and there’s a group of young people I try to you know, Encourage them to ask questions, you know being be inquisitive don’t never feel ashamed of a question if there’s things you don’t know ask. And there’s there’s people in the word of God and they love the fellowship around the word of God and they’re just waiting to be asked and [00:42:00] you people should take advantage of their elders and ask questions.

[00:42:05] Absolutely. And brother Branham did tell is this a if there’s a Bible question. There’s a Bible answer Amen brother. Amen. Well brother Matthew my goodness. You’ve been just throwing out all kinds of nuggets for the soul here these letters last hour. We might we’ve gone over and now way over an hour now, but may I just ask you one one one more question and then we can we can start winding down but.

[00:42:36] What do you think are some of the biggest misconceptions regarding Christianity or the message of the hour amongst amongst Believers or amongst people out there, even young people who who are on the fence? Should I should I or should I not serve the Lord should I do this? What what what do you think are the some of the biggest misconceptions out there?

[00:42:59] Well, I [00:43:00] think that some young people could be entertaining the idea that if they totally surrender their life to the Lord and you know become a Christian that they would be missing out on something of the world are missing out on some excitement or something like that and it really just is a lie of the devil because hesitating on surrendering your life to the Lord is actually delaying.

[00:43:27] Because the most exciting thing you can do is walk with Christ and come into a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus in a personal way the most exciting life. You can live as a life yielded to Christ or his lordship become such a reality to your life. And um, you know, I think that sometimes they are hesitant because they’re afraid of what people might think or they’re afraid that they might miss out on a career or some exciting thing life and it just isn’t true.

[00:43:56] So there’s a misperception of sorts. Yeah. [00:44:00] Absolutely. I have experienced this with young people myself that they’ll tell you. I asked one one. Look one 16 year old boy one time. I asked him I said listen, why don’t you go hit? Why don’t you serve the Lord? Why don’t you why don’t you. Get down to business with God, you know, he wants to get down to business with you.

[00:44:25] Why don’t you go ahead and just give Your Surrender Your Life to him and what he told me was I still have time for that. It was six sixteen years old and then about about four or five years later. He he got he he did some crime with a little girlfriend that he. And robbed the convenience store with some friends and she was there and now he’s in a jail cell tonight.

[00:44:55] And at this very moment now, he’s serving the lord and yet [00:45:00] it took for him it took for him to to to go through that experience to live life a little bit like you were saying their brother Matthew to to come to that point and that’s something that I don’t. We as older I guess Elders. We don’t we wouldn’t want for young people.

[00:45:21] That’s something that we try to avoid for them to even have to go through right brother Matthew. That’s exactly right brother heat that young man could have bypassed those troubles absolutely its decisions. He made that wound him up in the condition. He’s in right now, and I’m glad that he’s serving the lord and Trust in Christ for his salvation, but he could have absolutely.

[00:45:41] Bypass, those troubles and maintains his freedom and now have been, you know could have been a witness and a church. Could he use his talent for the Lord and a broader expanded way? Absolutely. Don’t wait until you have done that you drank drank as much beer as you possibly could or [00:46:00] smoked as much cigarettes or taking a lot of drugs and as much as you can before you realize well, okay?

[00:46:07] Yeah these things don’t don’t satisfy me much. Or played as many as much video games as you possibly could and you realize yeah, these things don’t satisfy me as much but but what you try it you try the Lord and you really experience the Lord and let me tell you you won’t go back. No, there is nothing else.

[00:46:28] Once, you know the come to know the Lord Jesus in the power of his resurrection. You realize he’s it he’s everything. Amen. Amen. Oh, praise the Lord Brother Matthew. I certainly appreciate this time that that you’ve given. I think I think you’ve really said some really thought-provoking things that hopefully hopefully it would help some of us to actually some of our listeners to be able to.

[00:46:59] Look into [00:47:00] their lives and say, how is my prayer life? How is my time spending time with God? Do I really desire to be in the house of God at my really satisfied when I’m listening to the word of God, you know, just to draw closer to God. I appreciate brother Matthew taking your time to say share these things with us and let me ask you this for the.
